Fast.co.uk unbundles new LLU services

1 March 2010

Fast.co.uk, the customer-friendly ISP, has today announced its LLU service packages, with an emphasis on faster speeds and enhanced performance for high end users, while maintaining its most cherished customer care features that have been the foundation of the company for many years.

Fast.co.uk’s Mark Baker, said: “Our move to LLU services will allow our high end users, both residential and business, to access a faster connection with greater usage allowances. The opportunity to work from the local exchanges opens up many possibilities for Fast’s customers in the future.”

Fast’s entry package allows users 200GB usage, with speeds up to 24Mbps at £33.00 plus VAT, while the premium package provides 450GB at just £39.00 plus VAT.

“We’ve retained the features of our other packages, such as short 3-month contracts, no port blocking, unlimited email and full virus and spam filtering,” said Baker. “This coupled with our UK-based customer care team that can be contacted on a non-premium phone number and free LLU migrations, shows our genuine commitment to being the ISP of choice.

“We have already seen much interest from users wanting the inherent benefits of LLU and also from those who want it installed as a backup line to existing BT network connections.”

Continuing to build upon the core service elements and based on customer feedback, Fast is also providing an early warning alert system, based on proprietary software that informs users when they approach their usage allowances.

“This is an exciting time as we add further functionality and greater speed to our packages. Looking to the future, we are well underway on building our planned 2010 super fast fibre broadband (FTTC) packages, which will provide speeds of up to 40Mbps,” concluded Baker.

New name, same great service

11 July 2006

We are pleased to let you know that from 10th July 2006 Dark Marketing Ltd will be known as Dark Group Ltd.

Over the past 7 years Dark Marketing Ltd has evolved and the services we've offered have changed with the times, and the ever growing expansion of the company. The name Dark Marketing Ltd no longer reflects the current products we offer, our future plans or the groups ethos.

We are very excited about this change and look forward to offering new services under the Dark Group name from the updated group website at www.dark.co.uk.

This is simply an identity change that leaves the ownership of the company, it's people and the services offered unchanged. Furthermore we expect that the rebranding will bring benefits to our customers and staff, by giving us an even stronger foundation for future growth.

The groups subsidiaries (including Fast.co.uk and YSH) are unaffected by this change and will continue to operate as separate brand names within the group. Existing websites, staff and contact details will not change.

The only change that you may notice is that your invoice, or credit / debit card statement will show "Dark Group Ltd" instead of "Dark Marketing Ltd". Any cheque payments will also need to be made out to our new company name.

You do not need to make any changes to the services or products we supply, all we do ask is that this change in identity is communicated with all personnel within your organisation who directly or in-directly deal with us.

Should you have any queries regarding this change, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Your Site Here launches shorter name

6 July 2006

We are pleased to announce that after extensive negotiations we have acquired the three letter domain name ysh.co.uk, for our managed hosting brand "Your Site Here", which will now be known as YSH.

This new domain name is shorter, and easier to remember so will make access to our website and contact via e-mail easier. Our website is now available at www.ysh.co.uk, and all e-mail addresses can now end @ysh.co.uk.

Our groups' aim is to create dynamic businesses that are built around strong branding, and this new domain name will assist in growing and promoting our YSH brand.

The domain name was acquired from Angus at Giraffe.co.uk, a well respected domain name investor, best known for selling taste.co.uk to Sainsbury's and three.co.uk to Hutchison 3G for a combined total of nearly £250,000.
